Maybe it’s the black and white color theme, maybe it’s the Audrey Hepburn prints on the walls, or maybe it’s those gorgeous illustrations that caught my attention.
Whatever the case, this Melbourne home and this talented lady piqued my interest.
Megan is no stranger to the fashion world – her client list includes Chanel, Dior and Tiffany & Co. just to name a few. And, her work has been seen in the likes of Time Magazine, Vanity Fair, and Italian Vogue. Go to her web page here to learn more.
Two decorating tips she shared with Adore Magazine…
1) use a neutral base – that way you can change the mood of a room by changing the artwork or a few pieces of furniture.
2) when using white put it next to black – the white will always look clean.
Her studio is full of inspiration…and pops of color – love’n the turquoise. How cute is that settee, all dressed in white with nailhead trim?
By the way – I noticed this cute piece of furniture dressed up with Megan’s pillows in an ad in the same magazine. You may remember me writing about it here.
Here’s a peek at her new book, soon to be released. I can’t wait!
I can’t believe I’ve never connected her illustrations as a collective – I’ve seen them here and there, but never put two and two together. I’m completely smitten with her interior aesthetic, and may use it as inspiration for my office redesign. What do you think? Have you noticed her work, or am I the only one who has been oblivious to this talented lady?
