What To Do On A Stormy Weekend

It’s shaping up to be another stormy weekend for much of the country. Do you have plans? Are you  hunkering down with a cup of tea and a good book?

Getting your creative juices flowing?

Playing a game or putting together a jigsaw puzzle?Organizing your photo library…goodness knows I need to do mine.

Planning your next vacation?

Going to an art gallery or a museum?

Doing some baking – that always warms up the kitchen and the stomach, doesn’t it???

Getting a jump-start on Valentine’s Day?

Going to the movies, or better yet, downloading a movie from Netflix.

What do you do when you’re facing a stormy day? As for me, I’m off to a watercolor workshop!

Stay safe my friends! Until next time…

  1. So many great ideas here. I am watching a little bit of hoops, followed by crafting and cooking.
    Have fun at watercolor class!

    • Sports is such a good distraction – we are hockey fans. My husband is a huge Dodger fan, baseball is OK but I prefer hockey and football.Crafting, painting and watching movies are my obsessions of late.

  2. It’s been really cold here and now this week it’s warming up so I hope it lasts. We’ve been staying in a lot and watching movies or doing projects as we can.

    • It has been cold here too, but my neighbor and I have been making each other walk when it’s not wet & miserable (gotta get our steps in). I have always been a homebody, so I love hunkering down in the house to read a good book, watch movies or catch up on projects while it’s raining or snowing outside.
